⇒ Polysomnography (PSG) – An overnight sleep study used to record and monitor body functions including eye movement, muscle activity, breathing, heart rhythm, and brain activity.

⇒ CPAP/Bi Level Titration/Auto Servo – A flow of positive-pressure air through a hose and mask in order to open the airway during the night of a patient to treat sleep apena.
⇒ Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) – A diagnostic test used to measure the time elapsed from the start of a daytime nap period to the first signs of sleep. MSLT is used extensively to test for narcolepsy.
⇒ Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) – This test is used to measure how alert you are during the day. It shows whether or not you are able to stay awake for a defined period of time.
⇒ Home Sleep Test (HST) – Sleep study tool used for the diagnosis of OSA. Portable unit about the size of a telephone handset that is to be used at home for 1 or more nights. Usually records about 3 or 4 channels of information.
